Camp Info & Schedules
IBA Writing Workshop for Elementary Students.
Reading & Writing is Job Number 1! Learning to Read vs Reading to Learn is the critical turning point after Grade 3. Students must reach grade level reading skills by second and third grade if they are to achieve high academic standards in middle and high schools.
IBA Language Arts and Literacy Programs are designed to ensure that our students reach and exceed these important benchmarks. By participating in individual and group exercises, the students will learn how to write their own stories, broaden their vocabulary, research topics of interest and report on them. Our goal is to give students the information, instruction, and guidance they need to become competent readers, writers and speakers of the English language.
