Ivy Bridge Academy’s “Scratch & Game Design Coding Camp for Elementary School Students” and “Python, Java, C, C++ Coding & Computer Science Camp for Middle School Students” both provide an interactive learning environment for computer programming & coding that is fun and challenging, while also being educational and applicable. We also offer “IBA USACO IOI Coding Camp for High Students”, to prepare students for the USA COMPUTING OLYMPIAD (USACO) and THE INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIAD IN INFORMATICS (IOI). USACO: Bronze: all new students start out in the Bronze. Silver: fundamental problem-solving techniques (e.g., recursive search, greedy algorithms) and fundamental data structures. Gold: encounter more standard algorithms of a more advanced data structures. Platinum: advanced algorithmic problem-solving techniques. Students will be given a last class date, and any class fee after that date will be refunded. After-School Programs: Non-refundable after the first lesson day. Summer Camp and Holiday Camp: Refundable only up to one month before the first day of camp. After this period, only tuition credits are offered. Tournaments: No Cancellations/Refunds. Credit Requests must be submitted in writing. Registration and handling fees are non-refundable. Make-Up Class Policy Year-Round Programs: Ivy Bridge requires a 24-hour advance notice before missing a class, in order to schedule a make-up class. Make-up classes can only be scheduled within the same monthly pay period. Make-up classes cannot be carried over to the next month or credited. After-School Programs: We strive to keep class sizes small and maintain an ideal teacher/student ratio. For these reasons, we are unable to offer make-up classes. Summer Camp and Holiday Camp: Please contact the Director of your location for information about missed classes. If families find that they have a scheduling conflict and need to switch their class day or time or camp, please contact us or request this change. Students will not be moved from their assigned class or camps after the credit deadline. Please be aware that switching class is contingent upon space availability in the desired class. Is there a chance that a class could be cancelled due to low enrollment? Ivy Bridge Academy / IvyDebate.com reserves the right to cancel classes for which enrollment does not reach the necessary level to provide the best experience for our students. In this event, we will notify the families affected by a cancelled class with a choice of either a suitable replacement class or full refunds. Are classes cancelled due to inclement weather? For the safety of our students and families, Ivy Bridge Academy / IvyDebate.com reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather. Make-up days for cancelled classes may or may not be scheduled based on individual class schedules and circumstances. Absences, late arrivals, and/or withdrawals: Families are expected to bring students to class on time. Please contact us in advance of any necessary absences or late arrivals when possible. No refunds or make up classes will be offered for absences, late arrivals, and/or withdrawals. Lost and Found: Be sure to label everything. Lost items may be claimed at the front desk.
