Our goal is to promote and maintain the students’ interest in mathematics, and challenge them with new interesting & advanced math concepts. We offer two different types of math tutoring all year long for students in Grades 9th to 12th at our Johns Creek campus, to help prepare our students and develop their skills. IBA Math Studies: Presents math in a fun, logic-puzzle fashion that alleviates pressure to the students Train the problem solving aspect of math Provides exposure to advanced concepts at an earlier age Trains logic development necessary to understanding mathematics Prepares for advanced placement tests Provides a positive learning environment without the stresses of an official grading system Teaches students to learn how to learn! IBA Competitive Math: IBA also offers specific training to prepare our students for prestigious national and global math competitions, including MATHCOUNTS (www.mathcounts.org) for Middle School Students American Mathematics Competition AMC 10, 12 for High School Students (www.maa.org) AIME | USAJMO | USAMO *Students with top scores are invited to the selection of the US team for the International Mathematical Olympiad. MATH LEAGUE THE HARVARD-MIT TOURNAMENT (www.hmmt.com) GT HIGH SCHOOL MATH COMPETITION (www.hsmc.gatech.edu) We use only qualified Math Tutors and Math SAT Coaches who follow the curriculum standards and guidelines. Class Cancellation • A one-month advance notice is required to discontinue lessons. • You will be given a last class date. Any classes after that date will be refunded. Credit Requests • All credit requests must be submitted in writing at least one month in advance. Tournaments • No make-ups for tournament classes. • No refunds for tournament fees under any circumstances. Payment Policies Yearly Payment Plan • No refunds for missed classes. • A one-month extension is permitted only for a summer break. • The extension request must be made one month in advance. School-Year Payment Plan • No refunds for missed classes. • No extensions allowed. Late Fees • Tournament Registration: Registrations submitted after the posted deadline will incur a $20 late fee (space permitting). • Tuition Payments: Tuition is due on the posted due date. Late payments will incur a $20 late fee. Year-Round HS Math TutoringFrom: $220.00 / month Sign up for Ivy Bridge Academy’s Year-Round HS Math Tutoring. This year-long program is available at Johns Creek Center for students in grades 9th-12th. Please register at least 5 days before the first intended class. Select $220 with Monthly Auto-Pay or $2200 with Annual Auto-Pay (Save 2 months of payment). Subscription will begin immediately. **LIMITED TIME UNTIL AUGUST 8TH** Select $1980 with School Year Auto-Pay to attend from August-May (Save 1 month of payment). If families find that they have a scheduling conflict and need to switch their class day or time or camp, please contact us to request this change. Students will not be moved from their assigned class or camps after the credit deadline. Please be aware that switching class is contingent upon space availability in the desired class. Is there a chance that a class could be cancelled due to low enrollment? Ivy Bridge Academy / IvyDebate.com reserves the right to cancel classes for which enrollment does not reach the necessary level to provide the best experience for our students. In this event, we will notify the families affected by a cancelled class with a choice of either a suitable replacement classes or full refunds. Are classes cancelled due to inclement weather? For the safety of our students and families, Ivy Bridge Academy / IvyDebate.com reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather. Make-up days for cancelled classes may or may not be scheduled based on individual class schedules and circumstances. Late Pick Up Policy Each child should be picked up promptly at the appropriate time. Late pick up will result in the following charges: * 1-5 minutes late: free * 5-10 minutes: $10 * 10 minutes and more: $1 for each additional minute Please note that three late pick ups will result in the student’s revocation of the right to attend the IBA After school program. Suspension or Dismissal from After School Program Held at ES, MS, HS: The After-School Program is a privilege offered in partnership with local schools. Each child is expected to behave properly and in accordance with code of conduct established by the schools. Inappropriate behavior may result in the suspension or dismissal of your child from the program. Please note that no refunds can be given for suspension or dismissal from the program due to inappropriate behavior. Absences, late arrivals, and/or withdrawals: Families are expected to bring students to class on time. Please contact us in advance of any necessary absences or late arrivals when possible. No refunds or make up classes will be offered for absences, late arrivals, and/or withdrawals. Lost and Found: Be sure to label everything. Lost items may be claimed at the front desk. Ivy Bridge Academy is not responsible for any lost items.
